Recommended for a system which has extended usage and/or is serviced on a irregular basis, every 2 – 4+ years. Trained GC Heating and Cooling technicians will perform a 45-80 minute tune-up and professional cleaning including the following 28 procedures:

Blower Motor- measure amperage and voltage for proper operation

Check blower wheel for proper balance, clean blower wheel

Thermostat – test for proper operation, calibrate, and level

Cleaning existing air filter (as needed) (replacements available for purchase)

Bearings – inspect for wear and lubricate(if necessary)

Check for proper draining – drain pan and drain line, clean( if necessary) and treat with algae treatment

Access, Inspect & chemical wash indoor evaporator coil

Confirm proper return air and size
-
Inspect condenser chassis and remove debris
-
Wash outdoor condenser coils w/ heavy duty chemical cleaner

Refrigerant – check for proper charge and monitor operating pressures (refrigerant available for purchase)

Safety Devices – inspect for proper operation

Electrical Disconnect Box – inspect for proper rating and safe installation
-
Electrical Wiring – inspect and tighten connections
-
Test/inspect contactors for burned, pitted contacts
-
Inspect electrical for exposed wiring
-
Inspect and test capacitors (capacitors available for purchase)

Inspect fan blade (clean if necessary)

Inspect service valves for proper operation,check for locking caps (caps available for Purchase)

Measure Supply/Return temperature differential

Measure for proper air flow volume

Compressor – monitor, measure amperage and volt draw, check wiring connections

Check unit for time delay relay

Check condition of isolation pads/grommets (pads and grommets available for purchase)

Inspect suction line for proper fittings

Inspect all fittings for signs of oil and/or leakage
-
Check the condition of Blower Belt, if applicable (belt available for purchase)

Duct system – inspect for air leaks (air leak repair available for purchase)
